Drafting and Planning
I have decided to use a font inspired by my favourite band ' The Libertines'. I have been heavily influenced by them throughout this process. I believe that the text shown here is very fitting for the ethos of my magazine as it is bold and c as n stand out in the front of the cover. I meatballs use this text in black and white on my double page spread as this would show I was following a certain style throughout my magazine.

Drafting And Planning
As my magazine double page spread has to be as authentic and realistic as possible I have created a list of 6 questions that will feature in my interview with my band ' The Croziers' These questions are:
- Why the name ' The Croziers'?
- When Did you all first decide to make music together?
- In your new song 'Devil Child' you Carl, say I only sing to numb the pain, what does this mean??
- Who have been your biggest influencers?
- Which style of music do you play and who is it aimed at?
- Any hidden messages in the new album?
- When Did you decide to start recording album two?

Drafting and Planning
Although this magazine cover is not the genre of magazine which I am aiming for I believe this magazine cover is successful due to the ways which techniques were used on the front cover.Direct Address is used in the magazine cover to make the audience to feel as if the star on the cover (Eminem) wants them to buy the magazine.
A large masthead is used to show the audience which magazine it is immediately.

I have decided to shoot my magazine pictures in an abandoned warehouse in Digbeth, Birmingham
I believed that this is an ideal place to shoot as the scenery can capture the ethos of my magazine. As there is graffiti in this warehouse it will capture the edginess of my band 'Billy and the Dingleberrys.' Overall, I think this will help me create the perfect image for my front cover, Contents page and double page spread. I hope this will help my get into role perfectly.

I was asked by my teacher when my first draft was being marked

"What magazine would yours being placed by on shelves?"
I believed my magazine would be firstly placed by NME. I think NME would ideal to be placed by my mag as the general ethos of my cover. The 'indie' genre of both the magazine would be in sync and fit nicely together.
The second mag that I would place my cover by is Bill Board. This also fit ethos of the two magazine therefore the answer to the question is BillBoard and NME.

I have choose 4 actors to star in my magazine. They are white males between the heights of 5"10 and 6"4. The 6"4 model will be the main actor in my magazine cover. This is because his will create a physical representation of the fact that they are the highest member of the band. I have also been looking into different costumes which they can wear when shooting. I will choose similar styles such as black denim jackets and white t-shirts o ensure that the magazine looks profession. Overall i Believe it will be a strong look and the magazine cover will clearly show whats featured inside due to the impressive photography on front cover.

- The Wound Closures

Clothing
When taking photos i will make sure my actors fit the genre of the magazine well and one of the main ways i will do this is though Clothing. This is front man of the Arctic Monkeys, Alex Turner. I will be basing my style on him. As you can see he is wearing a leather jacket and tight skinny jeans. I will ask my actor to wear similar clothing to ensure that the magazines ethos is not random and is very symmetrical. I hope this will make my contents page, cover and double page spread look believable and attractive.

This is an ideal example on how you can manipulate a band style for different purposes.
Cover 1 : Bright Lighting is used and so is a pun. This grabs our attention and indicates to us that they are starting a tour. The lead singer, Yannis, is also very central.
Cover 2: Dark lighting, CU, Yannis is very central, states how well they are doing.
Cover 3: Focus just on Yannis, Bright Lighting, Puff and promoting 2nd album.
Cover 4: Focus taken away from Yannis, Bright Pink FOALS shows contrast on dark clothiung. Exclusive Interview is very engaging.
Cover 5: Focus on Yannis: Doesn't state who they are in bold letters shows popularity. Bright Lighting, Puff.
