Organization

Throughout this process I have added many different changes to my magazine to ensure that the ethos and general house style which I was originally going to aim for is reached. Personally, I strongly believe that these decisions may have undermined the ones which I made in the past every step have made is for the best. For example, I imagined and Planning my cover to be in black and white but I have added a red background. I believe this which make the cover star on the cover stand out welll and make the direct address more recogni.

As a generic indie magazine my magazine had to include some features on the front cover to not only fit the ethos but also to ensure that the magazine looked genuinely like something that would be published in shops therefore I have included:

• Main cover line
• Cover star
• Barcode

• Direct Address

Drafting and Planning

After much consideration I decided to change the final locAtion of my photo shoot. Although stating it would be in thecustardfactory.co.uk I decided to make a last minute change. I eventually shoot my photo for my cover,contents and double page spread of my indie stars in a black box studio. This allowed me to angle the stars to ensure that they looked 3D in the photos.
Also this way I coukd edit the photos to add different coloured background in.Overall I believe that my choice of location for the photos was successful

These are some pictures I took to help my magazine look realistic and believable. Personally, I think the way my friend Carl is dressed will fit the ethos of my magazine when I use and edit some of this photos for my contents, front and double page spread.
